It's a lot of work but not that tough with the right system - just like anything else with painting it's most important to prep well and to pay attention to detail. Probably spent $75 on paint and supplies - it's been awhile since I did any projects so I had to buy a few buckets & rollers etc. Here's some shots of some wheels that I painted the last couple weekends. All I use are some decent quality roller naps, grids for buckets, and high quality reusable brushes - that'll paint anything from an old fence to touching up a living room wall in a million dollar home (from my experience lol).
I see they sold you their whole kit which is too bad because "pro painter" equipment is super cheap and can be gotten at any Home Depot or Lowe's and real paint supply stores. Perfect Palette Sampler color is highly recommended. I used to paint professionally and spent the first year and a half masking in front of the lead guy so I've got some practice lol.
I've been going back and forth about rolling the whole truck or masking off the whole truck and driving it down to the end of my little side street where there's a body shop and seeing if they'll spray it for cheap since they're just hosing it and everything else is done including the paint. Click to expand.The thing I like about monstaliner is that you can brush and roll it out and that would be perfect if you were spraying the truck and wanted matching door jambs etc.
